In case you still have the old halogen bases spotlights at home, you should consider switching to LED bulbs for home. The LED lights will work upto 50 times longer than your halogen ones. And they will emit lesser heat (the energy will go into lighting your room, not heating it…) which comes down to a 10 times more efficient power consumption compared to halogen lights. Yes, right, LEDs only consume a tenth of that energy!
